My Hope. I believe that yoga takes us on a journey from our physical state to our soul, thus connecting us to a place of love, peace, joy, and acceptance. It is through this powerful practice that I have been able to reconnect with my truest sense of self. The peeling away of layers that began on my mat have carried over into every aspect of my life. It has provided hope, clarity, patience and the tools needed to know that I can weather any storm. By providing the framework, my students will be empowered to maintain connection physically, mentally and spiritually. They, too, will find their silver lining in these self healing places, as I challenge them to unearth their full potential. Lisanne's teacher include Annie Q Simard, Kimberly Charbonneau and Julie Liefeld.
Lisanne is the founder and director of Project Soul Yoga. Lisanne is ERYT 500-hour LivFree® Certified, Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, LivFree® Certified Life Coach, Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki Master, a Professional Member of the Reiki Membership Association and Trauma Sensitive and Trauma Informed trained through The Center for Trauma and Embodiment. Other certificates include Yin, Restorative, and Kids Yoga.
My Freedom. I have found my most authentic connection to myself while on my mat. As a teacher I hope to offer my students a space to find peace within themselves. I am truly grateful for every teacher, student & studio owner I have met throughout my practice. My Yoga feeds my soul, truly gives me hope and shows me how free I can be when I show up fully as myself. My Healing. Yoga is path to healing. As a nurse, I have been trained to heal the body. Through yoga, I have learned to heal the soul. Yoga has transformed my life from darkness to light. I have come from a path filled with doubt and negativity. Now, I see the vibrant colors of life. The mat is like a mirror. Each time I step on the mat, know that I can gaze into myself and find the answers I have been running from. I hope to provide the same pathway to my students allow them to heal their own ailing soul. LaShante’s teacher is Lisanne Rae Cozart.

My safe place. It’s the place I can go in any mood and allow myself to feel my emotions and begin to work through them. I always walk out feeling like the world is no longer on my shoulders. When I unroll my mat I know that I’m going to not only enjoy a workout in my body but also in my mind and soul. I know that I will be safe to feel, safe to acknowledge and safe to heal. My Revelation. I began yoga as a workout. I needed a way to get in a solid workout with my busy schedule. I knew it would physically get me into shape, what I didn’t realize was what it would and continues to do for me mentally. Yoga has challenged me to be ok with imperfection and to push in when it gets hard. My hope is to create space that my students can feel safe to dig deep both physical and mental. My Peace. Yoga came into my life exactly at the time I needed it. I have always loved a good workout, but yoga is so much more than that. The elements of spirituality, presence, self-realization, and pure POWER that come from yoga are like no other. Yoga fuels and empowers my body, while simultaneously feeding and freeing my soul. I have always suffered from anxiety and a tendency towards excessiveness in all aspects of life, and now I can feel the excess in my life melting away, replaced with calm. I’m finding it more and more effortless to put focus on myself and my needs daily. I found my place at my mat during a time of change and transition in my life that felt very unsteady. Now, I am still in that place of transition, but throughout it all I feel safe, grounded, and at peace knowing I am supported by the Universe around me. I am so grateful for all that yoga has brought me and continues to bring me. And I can’t wait to continue to strengthen & grow my practice with all of you! Katelyn's teacher is Lisanne Rae Cozart.

My Grounding. Yoga has helped me learn to let it be. When I step on my mat I can let go of any stress, worry, expectations, and I can just be. I have struggled with being present in the moment, always worrying about what comes next, never fully enjoyingg where I am at in life; Yoga has taught me how to slow down, feel grounded where I am and enjoy each moment for what it is. Being present and feeling my body move on my yoga mat has changed how I live and react to things while off my mat. My hope as a teacher is to create a space where students feel sage and joy being in the present moment and can just be. Meredith’s teacher is Lisanne Rae Cozart.

My Joy. Yoga has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, although I must admit it's been an on-and-off relationship. Nevertheless, each time I return to my mat, I rediscover the pure joy of being in my body and staying there. The best part is that with each practice, I uncover more: more strength, more peace, and a greater willingness to simply be. This journey has been nothing short of amazing, and I believe it could continue to be a never-ending source of new discoveries. Yoga is my wellness. I discovered yoga as a teen, it has come and gone from my life over the years. I was in a very dark place when I began my most dedicated practice yet. On my mat I have found inner strength and peace. I have found the strength to show up for myself, to love myself. Yoga has been a vital tool in combating depression and anxiety. It is such a amazing feeling to show up to practice in any mood, carrying any weight then leaving feeling so much lighter. I had never been someone who enjoyed exercise, yoga has completely changed that. I find that I am thankful for the ability to move my body, to be in my body and find connection to my mind. My Family. I went to yoga to try and spend more time with my mom. What I didn’t know was that I would end up making friends and finding a new community that made me want to become the best version of myself. Yoga has challenged me to step out of my comfort zone to learn more about myself whilst still being a safe place to do it. My Balance. As a disabled Veteran, I have struggled to find a balance between the life I lived as a Marine and the life I live today. I began yoga while recovering from physical injuries. As my physical body recovered, my mental health improved dramatically. Yoga has taught me to be physically and mentally present. As a teacher I hope to offer my students a space that they can feel safe and be physically and mentally present for themselves. Yoga has taught me to have balance in all aspects of my life. My home. Yoga came into my life when I needed it the most. I was struggling with my mental health. After the first week into practicing yoga, I bought my first yoga mat. It was in that moment I just knew I had to keep showing up! When I show up on my mat I know I can be myself. Every time I step on my mat Im brought back one step closer to my home, the authentic me; before life happened. I never felt more myself than when I am on my mat. I am able to express myself mentally, physically and spiritually. Yoga has shown me the peace, love and serenity I have wanted has always been within me, even if I had to step on my mat to find it. I don’t practice yoga for the poses. I practice to come back to myself. Yoga has brought me back to myself in so many different ways. It has helped heal my heart, mind and soul. My connection. It is through yoga that I have been able to connect with myself and the people around me on a profoundly deeper level.
