I began my yoga journey in my twenties, however it was not through asanas, but meditation. I noticed how my mind began to change and settle, it had taken me years to just be able to sit. Slowly from 5 minutes up to 20, sometimes for much longer periods.
In 2009 I began my asana practice and in 2017 I began practicing power yoga. Here is where my body began to change. I would say this is the strongest my body has ever been.
I practice yoga because it allows me to find that quiet space inside where I can really be with myself (no escaping), because it feels good in my body, and because I feel alive. From these spaces my Joy is born.
I have always wanted to teach yoga to bring to others a practice that I love and that brings me Joy. I want others to know how good it feels to be connected to your body, mind, and spirit. How good it feels to be connected to others. How good it feels to just settle inside and let everything go and be with whatever may be present: good, bad, and ugly. In yoga we transform ourselves. I love teaching and helping others grow.
I’m a joyful spirit, an outdoor enthusiast, an adventurer, an artist, a woodworking and art teacher, and people lover. We are all one. I Look forward to your presence.
